Our Story

NAML Academy was built on a straightforward conviction: Muslim children in North Texas deserve a school that takes both their faith and their education seriously. Our mission is to deliver a high-quality education that brings together Montessori pedagogy, Texas state standards, and Islamic teaching in one coherent, faith-based environment.

We are not trying to balance religion with academics. We treat them as one and the same. Quranic studies, Islamic history, and Islamic principles are woven into the core curriculum, not added alongside it.

Every child carries distinct potential. The Montessori approach gives us the tools to meet children where they are: child-directed inquiry, hands-on learning, and teachers who guide rather than lecture. Pair that with Texas state standards and a grounding in Islamic character, and the result is graduates who are academically prepared, personally grounded, and aware of their responsibility to the wider community.

Spiritual growth is not reserved for Islamic Studies class. It shows up in how students resolve conflict, how they take care of shared spaces, and how they engage with peers across every subject and every grade.

NAML Academy is located in Lewisville, Texas and serves students from Pre-K through Grade 8 across five program tracks. Class sizes are intentionally small, and our student-to-teacher ratio supports the individualized attention that Montessori methods require.
