The admission process, step by step
Every NAML Academy application follows the same four-step process. The steps below tell you exactly what to prepare at each stage so nothing catches you off guard.
Step 1: Complete the inquiry form
Fill out the online inquiry form on our Apply page. Once submitted, you may schedule an on-campus or virtual tour to learn more about our programs and community. This step costs nothing and commits you to nothing; it simply starts the conversation.
Step 2: Submit your application and documents
Complete the online application and upload all required documents. Applications are not processed until every item below is received:
- Previous report cards
- Attendance and discipline records
- IEP, if applicable
- Birth certificate
- Immunization records
Step 3: Admission assessment and interview
After reviewing your child's records, we will schedule an admission assessment. Interviews are typically scheduled four to ten days after testing. Students entering grades 6 through 8 are required to interview with the Admissions Committee.
Step 4: Receive your acceptance letter
Once a decision has been made, an official acceptance letter is emailed to you. The letter includes instructions for completing your enrollment packet, setting up your Gradelink account, submitting the registration fee, and finalizing classroom placement. All remaining enrollment fees are due within two business days of receiving the letter.
