Pre-K to Kindergarten

Little Scholars

An Islamic Montessori environment where the youngest learners build independence, curiosity, and a love of learning from day one.

About this program

The Little Scholars program serves children from 18 months through Kindergarten across four developmental levels: Infant, Toddler, Pre-primary, and Little Learner (Pre-K to Kindergarten). Each classroom is a prepared environment where children move at their own pace, choosing purposeful work from Montessori materials designed for their stage of development.

Islamic values are woven into every part of the day, not treated as a separate subject. Children hear Quran, learn basic duas, practice the manners of the Prophet, and grow up understanding that knowledge and faith belong together.

What your child learns

Practical life is the heart of the Montessori early childhood environment. Children learn to care for themselves, their classroom, and each other through purposeful, hands-on activities. These routines build concentration, fine motor control, and the quiet confidence that comes from being genuinely capable.

Emergent literacy and numeracy develop through Montessori sensorial materials rather than drills. Each level builds naturally on the last, from letter recognition and sound work in Pre-primary to reading and early arithmetic in the Little Learner classroom.

Islamic integration runs through all of it. Children learn Quran recitation, Arabic letter recognition, and basic Islamic manners (adab) in age-appropriate ways. By the time a child reaches Kindergarten, faith is not a separate period on the schedule; it is the atmosphere of the whole environment.

[CLIENT TO PROVIDE: specific curriculum sequence or materials used at each level (Infant, Toddler, Pre-primary, Little Learner) if available.]

A typical morning

Each day begins with morning circle: Quran recitation, a short dua, and calendar work together as a group. From there, children move into the work cycle, choosing their own activities from the prepared shelves with guidance from the teacher. Outdoor time follows for gross motor play, then the group comes back together for a read-aloud in English or Arabic. The morning closes with snack, practical-life cleanup routines, and a brief reflection dua.
